Never A Truer Word is just over a year old and I’ve so proud of all the content that’s been produced over the past month. There’s a new book, new videos and a new podcast available.
THE BOOK
Truthful Deception is available now. It’s a deep dive into the processes that I use here to decode the words people use and a look at the theories behind them. It finishes with a section of case studies so you can see it all in action.
It’s packed with relatable, real-world examples showing how those all around us will try and deceive us with the words they use.
I believe anyone can read this book and almost immediately start seeing the world very differently as they get closer to understanding what is truly being said to them.

THE VIDEOS
The world seems to have become obsessed by cheating in table sports. Chess and Poker are both at the centre of scandals and my latest videos look at the words being used by the people accused of cheating. Are they on the up and up or is something more deceptive going on?
THE PODCAST
Ok, it’s not totally new! The Words of West Cork Podcast has been available for a month and is attracting a fascinating response.
It looks at the words of the people at the heart of the investigation into the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier. Sophie was killed in West Cork, Ireland in 1996 and while there are many theories, no one know for certain who killed her. What can we learn from looking at the words of the police’s main suspect and others who were close to what happened?
I’ll be recording the final episode soon, with my summing up and going into your comments. It would be great to have you involved.
AND MORE
I’m about to start writing book three, there’s another podcast in the pipeline and more videos and blog posts will be made. If you want to get involved in discussing words in the community, join the Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/680041943036112
Brilliant, thanks
I was just wondering if you still plan to do a 5th podcast episode on West Cork? Thanks!
