And I will say - unnecessary words. She is already talking. There is no need to prefix the words she is going to say by saying that she is going to say them. Slowing down the narrative.

distancing language. Even if "the substance" in question really was not hers, by this time she would know what the substance was and be able to name it.

that they found

they is obscure. Who is they? Yes, we can infer she means the police, but she is not saying that. Where was it found? On her person? She doesn't say. Distancing language.

IMO, highly likely that the drugs she had on her were hers.
