I knew her and I have known her first husband since I was a kid. He told me that Chris Antos had called a woman who my friend and Shana had known for years, and I guess Chris Antos knew her as well through Shana. Anyway he talked to this mutual friend and she told him that Chris Antos had called her the night before, saying that he was looking for Shana or has she seen Shana like she was missing already. So that whole story about seeing her in the morning and saying he came home for lunch etc., was an outright lie. Apparently something happened the night before to shana.
What was told to me is that, her ex husband Chris Zarbaugh, told me that he went to see shana's mother right before she passed away. He told me that Chris Antos had called her mother the night before she went missing looking for her. This is just what I was told. But if it is true, then that would mean that everytjing he was telling the reporter the following day was BS. And it means he was lying about when she went missing. And I know that her mother was probably questioned about things but it is possible that she failed to mention that phone call the previous night because she assumed that it was known or that it was irrelevant and she could have assumed that Chris Antos had told the story already about it. But then she passed away shortly after, and that info went with her. So if what I was told is true, then Chris Antos was suggesting to her mother that he was looking for her the night before she went missing. So the next morning, he tells a story about coming home from work and she isn't home then calls the police, but never mentioned calling her mother. But who calls the police after a few minutes of someone not being home anyway? There was no doors kicked in or sugn of any trouble whatsoever as far as I can tell from his story. So why call the police after only a few minutes? No one does that. Most people would have waited at least a few hours to see if she returned, or called around to friends and ask if they had seen her first before making phone calls to the police. But he calls the police right away. That is not normal behavior to begin with. So his story is full of odd behavior and things that make no sense as far as normal reactions to such a seemingly innocent situation.
Shanas ex husband. He told me that when he was released from Bexar County Jail, he went and visited Shanas mother since she lived a couple streets behind where Chris worked at the Car Wash. So that is when he said that she had mentioned to him, while they were discussing what happened to Shana, that Chris Antos called her late the night before looking for Shana. Anything outside of that I don't know. But from the start, the official story and the way he told it, is suspicious and doesn't really make any sense. Just the almost immediate call to police with no reason to do so. There were no doors kicked in, broken windows, stolen merchandise, nothing out of place according to him. Yet he calls the police 15-20 minutes after he noticed her not home.So because of that, it isn't so odd that he may have called her mother the night before, and then decided to change his story the next day. But who can say for sure. It is second hand info that I recieved. But like I said, something stinks
I'm not even paying much attention to his words. The audio could be off and I could watch the video and tell he was ONE lying kook. Look at ALL the unnecessary arm and hand gestures. If I was really a listener, then all his unnecessary extra descriptions, and being OVERLY DETAILED of his and her actions during that morning is a BIG TELL-TALE SIGN of someone trying TOO hard because of a guilty conscience.. Like they say, let a rambling liar have the "floor" and they will hang their own self. To me, I think that's what he did in that interview...and then, when they found her body, he doesn't wanna talk to anybody. Ummm....yep, something is definitely fishy with him. Seems to me, by now, these peeps who murder their spouses and close fam members, SHOULD KNOW that the NERVOUS UNNECESSARY EXTRA PHYSICAL GESTURES SCREAM YOU'RE A LYING POS!! Now, maybe by a small percent chance, I'm wrong...I will then apologize to him....but I doubt I will have to. Poor lady.
Yes the whole interview is ridiculous. He gets asked a question and goes into storytelling about unnecessary things that make him look like he's answering a question that he practiced in his head about what he thought he was going to be asked. Plus, who the hell calls the cops and the in laws because your wife isn't home? She could have been takin a walk, at a friends house, or whatever. But to call the cops and the in laws after her simply just not being home for a few minutes? I think most people would not have even thought about calling the police until hours had passed. But to do it after a few minutes and act like a seemingly normal situation is reason to go apeshit and call the police and her parents is extremely odd. And also, if he is normally at work during the day, how in the hell would he know exactly what is normal or not normal as far as her routines at home? Maybe she took a walk, etc. Something is way off.
Yeah the thing that stands out most for me is the fact that he calls the cops so quickly. I have come home many times over the years expecting that my gf or wife should be home, but many times they were not. They were with a friend or at the store or wherever. But it never even occurred to me to call the police because they weren't there. A normal situation would be him not thinking much of it until more time had passed and then start to get worried, call people you know, etc. Then if she is still gone as the day ends I would think something is up. But he calls them right away not knowing shit. That sounds like he knew she wasn't coming back and just called the police too soon to make himself look concerned I guess .
He doesn't mention why she was sad, or go into any detail other than abruptly she was sad Monday evening and Tuesday morning, so therefore, she's gone? Also, he answered the question that he realized she was missing when he "came back". Then proceeds to backtrack so that he can go into detail about his alibi. Kinda odd the way he talks about calling the cops, and then calling her dad after, and starting the process... wouldn't the process start when the cops were called?
Great spots. Every time he deals with timings he isn’t linear, he jumps around and isn’t very clear. Later in the interview he does expand more on her “sadness”, again it’s not very clear. I may write about that next.
I worked with this guy and I saw the interview. I said from the very beginning he had something to do with her disappearance. This had Chris Watts vibes written all over it. There were so many things he made a point to say that were not reveleant. Hope her family gets justice
Hi. To me, the clue has to be in an autopsy and if the person conducting the autopsy could not find anything than ai would insist on another or a forensic investigator. She had to have died from something..Too not find cause of death is not acceptable from a trained scientists opinion. Maybe they did find the cause of death?

Brian I am Shana’s Aunt is there a way we could talk about your reply. I am very interested in knowing more.

Then my next question is who told you this?
